We had the privilege of participating in a spring-inspired styled shoot at the stunning Primrose Hill Farm, and it was nothing short of enchanting.

The Venue: Primrose Hill Farm

Nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds, Primrose Hill Farm is the perfect canvas for a luxury spring wedding. With its sweeping views of lush countryside, elegant yet rustic interiors, and light-filled spaces, it provides the ideal backdrop for couples looking to blend sophistication with a natural, organic feel. For this shoot, the venue’s contemporary barn played host to our creative vision.

The Vision: A Breath of Spring

Our floral design for this shoot was centred around the freshness and vitality of spring. We envisioned a tablescape that felt effortlessly elegant, marrying crisp greens and soft whites to evoke the beauty of new growth and the season’s purity.

The inspiration began with the leafy green tableware, which immediately conjured images of flourishing gardens. From there, we built layers of texture and tone, using flowers, greenery, and carefully curated decorative elements to create a cohesive look.

The Floral Details

For the floral arrangements, we embraced a palette of white and green, with subtle touches of earthy tones for depth. Key elements included:

• White ranunculus and roses for their timeless elegance and soft, romantic feel.

• Delicate spirea and waxflower to add texture and a sense of natural movement.

• Lush greenery, including ruscus and aspidistra leaves, to echo the leafy motif of the tableware.

• Artichokes, which added an unexpected and contemporary twist to the arrangements.

• Flower-filled cabbages, which served as unique, eye-catching vessels for smaller floral displays, perfectly complementing the green tableware and adding a playful yet sophisticated touch.

The centrepiece arrangements were designed to flow naturally across the length of the table, drawing the eye while remaining understated enough to encourage conversation amongst guests. Each arrangement was carefully positioned in sleek, neutral-toned vessels to complement the venue’s modern aesthetic.

The Tablescape

The table setting was a celebration of texture and contrast. Vibrant green plates shaped like cabbage leaves were paired with crystal glassware and polished silver cutlery, creating a sense of refined luxury. Soft linen napkins in muted tones provided a subtle, tactile element, while candles in tall glass hurricanes added a warm, flickering glow.

The overall effect was one of effortless sophistication—a perfect balance of modernity and romance, with a nod to the season’s fresh, rejuvenating spirit.
